Question in the title. 1850s onwards, esp Dublin county.

If there are issues surrounding title, then Historic Maps will not resolve it for you.

I suggest you visit a solicitor for advice.

Nothing to do with property ownership! I just want the OS Finglas Dublin area since mid 19th century. Kinda hoping someone would know site or have maps they could scan or photograph for me.

Am I the only one who thinks they should make those available for download free? Let's face it, they are well in the public domain and copyright free the only charge was digitisation and that is surely covered by the taxes we pay.

Those fees seem pretty steep and unfair to me!

Most libraries should have print copies of the 6". The OS site above has the 25" also, but without the valuation cross-references. Are you a student? If so (or if not) you could chance trying for a readers ticket for the glucksman map library in Trinity (you will need to give a reason for your visit).

If you're still stuck and know the plate number you want I could pick it up for you next time I'm in, which will probably be after Christmas

It is fairly disgraceful alright. Libraries are iffy about copying also for some reason.
