Could you kill a cow if you were starving?
    You.. you mean like beef?

Yes the Eastern Europeans did it...

I think its pretty obvious that the Cow committed suicide.

I'm sorry but i dont see where it mentions who did it? Not even a hint of who in that article.

If they were starving it'd be acceptable, but I doubt they are/were

tbh the people doing this are dirty thieving bastards that think it's ok to ignore our laws and customs.. that's not on if they want to live in our country

I've seen a minibus full of eastern Europeans out picking cockles early in the morning and loading vans with them. The local fishermen are up in arms over it because the industry is being ruined for them

I'd say the same thing if it was Irish people doing it btw

There was a time when finding cows...
    "dismembered in a field"
meant you went for the obvious answer: passing extraterrestrials with anal probes. Why oh why can't they live by our customs (edit: ah I see we've already gone there)
He added: "[Thefts] are happening with sheep, where farmers will come across only the skin left behind and all the rest has been removed."
Eh, obviously crop-circle-making ETs to me.

The whole furore over the Eastern European swan-eating thing was sparked by a dubious story printed in the Daily Sun, who were unable to back up their claims when investigated. It's most likely an urban myth.

My friend told me you did it Ron Byrne.

    Does that make it true?

It's a fish, not renowned for it's taste.

It's a long stick with a pointy hook on the end, not very tasty or nutrious.

It is time for this one to go to Stage 2: They killed the cow by knocking it down with a Toyota Corrola bought using their 'free car' welfare voucher.

    Stage 3: Nigerians

    Stage 4: Donegal

Did you even bother your arse reading the link? It says nothing about who did it. Are you really making accusations based on no evidence whatsoever? Pretty sad tbh.

What acusations did I make? I was reffering to something which I have seen happen, did you even bother your arse reading my post?

I was referring to the first part of your post where you imply that it was foreigners that did this by saying that "the people doing this are dirty thieving bastards that think it's ok to ignore our laws and customs.. that's not on if they want to live in our country

You've predetermined that they have done this against our (hence not their) laws and customs.

    Its those god damn Japanese!

They know that Cow and Chicken dropped the A-bomb on them instead of dolphin and whale. Now they want revenge.

Well I was responding to the OP's statement that he heard it was Eastern Europeans, and sharing my own experience of what I have witnessed Eastern Europeans doing

It wasn't meant to cause offense, I even said I'd be saying the same thing if it was Irish people

Je$us that's awful, they were doing the same with deer down in Kerry but they were caught, over from the UK iirc.

You stated as fact without any evidence that foreigners were to blame. What if it was Irish people who did this, Irish people not abiding by our laws and customs?

It's a criminal matter, if it really wasn't the aliens, and should be dealt with as such. This demonisation of foreigners with no evidence whatsoever is pretty damn lame, even for AH.

Is your friend a Xenophobe? I'd love to hear some logical reason that makes it more than likely an Eastern European say compared to a starving recession hit Irish.

You ever watch No Reservations on the Food Network? When they killed a Lamb? Whetted my appetite so it did. Lamb is gorgeous.

Yes, how dare they pick up creatures which occur in the wild. Because apparently these Irish fisherman have an inalienable right to all shellfish found on our coast.

They actually do...but are fishing rights based on nationality or residency?

I heard it was norhtern spanish fishermen who gave up on fishes and are trying to steal our cows now.

It's true. I seen a Polish lad distract a cow with a pike and then proceed to beat him to good fúck with a swan.

There's a reason why locals don't go out in their droves and take massive amounts of shellfish though, to protect the yield and support what's left of the local industry

The stuff the immigrants take doesn't end up in local restaurants or fish shops

Make of it what you will, it may not be the biggest issue in the world but I certainly don't agree with it

How do you know that they weren't collecting for a commercial Irish producer?

Because most commercial Irish producers make an effort to preserve stock and support the industry, and I'm sure that the fishermen would be aware of who it was in that case

Coming from an area that had alot of fishing nearby it's my experience that Irish fishermen are as short sighted as the bus loads you mention.

Reminds me of the story about Chinese people picking cockles out on some beach on the coast of south England, ended up drowning. I seriously doubt those eastern Europeans are making any money out of that venture, their just arms and legs. I think you will find some Irish guy is heading that operation and making a ****load of money doing it as the guys doing the donkey work are getting paid fack all for back breaking work.
