Settling without going to insurance co

    If a person was to settle for a small collision for a few hundred euro whats best way of paying to ensure theres a record of it, bank draft, money transfer? Should the person at fault who admits fault and is paying to settle sign anything to prevent any future claim?

    Get a receipt, saying "full and final settlement"....

    How you pay doesn't really matter a whole lot tbh.
