Anyone else find the king cobra drivers waaaay too loud? Got stuck beside a guy with one at the range last week & it was painfully loud. If I had earplugs with me Id have worn them.

I hit one indoors into a net and I couldn't hit it again it hurt to much

I use a KZG driver at the moment but most of the time i actually tee off with a Cobra S91 3 wood. I had tried the new Cobra ZL Driver, it was okay performance wise!!:)

I have a cleveland launcher, 9.5 degree. With a UST Proforce stiff shaft.

Whats the general consensus? Will various models deliver more distance and accuracy etc?

Play my L4V mostly. And it is a fine club. Sometimes take the MX560 out and and it aint bad. The MD, Superquad, HyperX, and Burner only get an airing when Im really desperate - and they never help anyway - but I never learn.

I have a Ping G10 10.5 with regular shaft and i like it but thinking of trading it in for a 12 degree version,i hit the ball quite low and think a bit more loft might benifit me.

Currently using a Ping G5 12 degree driver. Sweet club. Recently used a G10 10.5 degree model and loved it also. 20 yards more and still straight. Hope to upgrade to one shortly as an ebay Christmas treat to myself.

Its a real grip it and rip it club!!

Her bro is changing from G10 10.5° Reg Shaft, to a Taylormade - told him I might relive him of it!! Need to slow the swing down a tad for consistency Have hit it a few times before and had reasonable results :P
Need to borrow it off him for a test round before parting way with some of the hard earned!

Lovely flat penetrating ball flight... and great sound!

Titleist D909d2 comp 9.5 stiff Matrik Ozik shaft. Only had it a few weeks but it is by far the best driver I've ever had. I was always a bit dubious about Titleist geat, thinking that only a certain type of golfer (ie bloody good) could use them. I have subsequently bought the 909 fairway and hybrid club and absolutely love them.

Had one with a prolite shaft, cracking club. Long live the 975j my buddy still uses one, he actually had a 909d2 but went back to the 975j:D

Ping G15, which I got after my Hibore shaft broke at the grip end. I have to admit I was surprised at how much bigger the face area,and therefore the sweet spot has increased in only the last couple of years since my Hibore XL came out. I tried the Cobra which was way too loud, and the Burner but didn't like it's curved face. Maybe that's because with a toe hit, the gearing effect didn't happen with the range balls out in Kinsealy(sic) and it would go straight right.

In my experience TaylorMade has been most popular for years. Can't I got the attraction though. Prefer Titleist or Nike, have the Nike Sq for a few years now has never let me down

Ah ha - I wasnt planning on getting rid of it - but definately holding onto it now!!

Im hitting it fairly well - however I just feel Im loosing distance with the old technology!! Mates wouldnt be huge hitters, Id be a fairly bigger hitter if I flush it, but they seem to be getting good distance with little effort with their newer clubs!!

Is it just in my head - can the 975J still cut it with the new boys??

Say compared to the latest Titleist club - 2 clubs put into a swing machine, so both strikes are perfect - how many yards difference!!*
