Just saw this on hotukdeals, and in testing if it would deliver to Ireland, inadvertently ordered one. Managed to cancel it though, I'm happy with my iPod :P

I don't think it has a browser, as it isn't touchscreen, but you can stream music to it from your PC.

Where I'm thinking Wireless is great is you download an album and are about to leave the house... couldn't be arsed hooking it up - send it wirelessly!

    Could use this feature regularly!

    sounds good
do you know if it has a fm trasmitter , or any way to add this feature to it?

The 32GB version is available at a similar reduction http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-Video-Player-Wireless-Compatibility/dp/B001C9RY3Y

I don't think it has an FM Transmitter, but you could buy a 3.5mm jack one easily. Although FM transmitters are always terrible sound quality...

Many Thanks OP, ordered one as a xmas present.

I got years of good service out of my old zen touch brick so hopefully these new players are of a similar quality

Doesn't work like that, you can browse and stream from your PC, but you can't copy the content wirelessly to the player.

Anyone know is the quality of the Built in Speaker any good? or any idea of a suitable docking station for this?

    Thanks

I have a zen x-fi 2 which i'm very happy with after a few teething problems and a recent firmware upgrade.

The touch screen isn't great by apple standards but the sound quality is very good and it does almost everything i'd want it to.

The built-in speaker is surprisingly good for something that looks like a small memory card slot. You could use it to watch video in a normal room quite happily.

    (I've had a 32GB X-Fi for a good while, that's what I'm basing my observations on)

There's no connector for any dock so your looking at going through the line-in of an external speaker system. There's also no video out option, FYI.
