Hi guys, I'm about to transfer a .ie domain to you for hosting. My question is can I move the web site without moving existing email addresses? I'm trying to avoid getting involved with messing about with the guy's emails, but want to move the web site because the existing hosting is, well, rubbish frankly.

    HI

    Sorry for not replying sooner

You can move the website without the mail if you know the MX (mail) records ie. you'd need to set the DNS so that the mail continues going to whereever it's going at present, while the website would be using our webservers

In any case you can probably resolve this with our technical support team

Thanks. I was asked not to change the A record or the MX record, might have to have a chat to tech support about it.
