Malt Biscuits

I have a recipe for a desert that looks for malt biscuits. Anyone know where I'd get some, or any brand names that make them?

Failing that, can anyone suggest something similar?

    Thanks.

You often see these near the rich-tea and digestives in the bickkie isle.
They can be known as "malted milk" biscuits also. AFAIK, supervalue do their own brand version.

Just checked there, tesco do them too. But if you're stuck here's a recipe for them.

    Thanks Eviledna,

Had no joy is Superquinn this evening. I'll try Tesco tomorrow.

It's a rather sinful desert and I want it to be just right ;)

You could add some Horlick's malt powder to plain biscuits if you can't find malt biscuits.

I needed to use them whole though.

Got a packet in Tesco today, and desert is setting in the freezer :D

    Thanks to you both.
