Not too sure if this was ever discussed before, but what's the chances or introducing a bookmark feature so that you can mark the last post you read in a certain thread?

In some threads, you might see over 100 posts a day so it can be difficult remembering where you left off so this would be a nice little addition.

There would be no need to have it available for every thread, maybe just ones with a lot of views/posts etc.

    What do you think?

Do you mean like this? firstnew.gif

If a thread has new posts since you last logged in to boards, clicking there brings you to the first post in a thread since then. Kind of like a bookmark ;)

Hmmm i suppose with that feature, it's basically job done from boards point of view. I know thread titles appear in bold if there's new posts since your last visit, and the "view first unread post" works almost always but it's only half the problem.

Say i'm away for 3 days and click on a thread with 500 new posts. If i only get through 200 before i have to run, there's no way to bookmark it where i left off.

That is different BuffyBot. That only keeps track since your last logged in session afaik, not since you last looked at a particular thread. I think what flushdraw is trying to say is that in a particular thread you are interested in you could insert a marker to return to, even if it is several sessions later.

Possibly better for this to be in feedback though as it is new feature requests?

    Buffy / Mods,

Can you move this thread to feedback please so we can get some opinions on it. Realised that this is probably the wrong forum for my query. Thanks

    Tony

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
