    Hi

Ive got Gufw to deny all incoming connection to my ubuntu box. The only exception to the default rule is that for a connectivity reason i have let a certain program have full open access to port 51413. Could i get hacked this way?

Your posts are getting extremely more paranoid on this board!
What have you got on your ubuntu box that's so top secret I wonder?

    Pics of Bertie? :p

It depends what is running on that port - if the software has security holes, then yes. If its patched, and known to be reasonably secure, then unlikely. If really paranoid, restrict access to that port to the set of IPs that need to connect.
