Last year I came across a very portable device which allowed you to insert an SD card, upload & manage photos, display them in slide show format and store them, could have had a capacity of about 80gigs, for the life of me I cannot remember what it was called, it was not a photo frame
Ill bet several here can help me out, thanks...Charles

Was it one of the Epson multimedia storage units? P3000, P5000 I think. I've seen similar devices from other companies too.

I looked into getting one but they cost from 250euro upwards for something good.

Canon also have similar devices - M80 and M40 (I think).

I have the M80 and find it great for when on holidays, for storing images. It takes SD and CF cards.

I got an Epson P7000 last year. Great device, ,160Gb hard drive, just insert memory card and you'll have a back-up in a few minutes. Can play music, videos, slideshows as well

I don't know what the current pricing of those canon and Epson units is like now but unless they've come down one of the decent netbooks must be a competitive option too?

You should check out an archos PMP.

I have one for the last few years, you can hook up your digital camera and send all your images onto it for storage, great for when you on holidays.
