Laptop Help!

    Hi,

We recently got wi-fi installed at home, which is great when my bro/sis or myself are home. When we're not though, my mum has no laptop to use.

I'd like to spoil her for Christmas and get her a decent laptop.
She would really only be using it for using the internet, typing up documents and playing solitaire (she's addicted).

Is it possible to get a decent laptop with a 12" - 14" screen (she probably wouldn't need bigger, but correct me if I'm wrong!) that would do the job?

    Thanks for all your help!

WELL the cheapest one i know is on powercity compaq dualcore 2gig ram 15inch screen 399,see www.powercity.ie,
pcworld and dixons have a good range too.FOR web use 15inch screen is ideal.
TRY and get 15inch widescreen ,thats my advice.
ITS not like 14inch is any cheaper.
