A gem of a series. I bought it on VHS many years ago and then replaced it with the DVD box set when it first came out a few years back. This is the best science show that was ever on TV. It is now 30 years old but still relevant today. Carl Sagan has always been my hero. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

Loved the show the first time around, must have been 10 when it was screened.
Was going to suggest waiting for the blu-ray but then the thing was for TV, and american TV at that, the native resolution would suck now anyway.
    So DVD it is.
But I remember this show as a real eye opener, doing for astrophysics and astronomy what the aforementioned Attenborough did for the nature documentary.
Must watch out for it and pick it up, then watch it with my 6 year old!
