    Hi all,

Noticed a small crack above the dock connector - should I send back to Apple under warranty or just live with it???

depends how big it is and how much it bothers you. but since it is under warranty you might as well get it fixed

took a wee fall from couch to wooden floor - thought it would have been more resiliant than that?!

Ah will just live with it - Apple will probably see it as a drop - and not worth a insurance claim

May be worth a try with the warranty so - thinking of resell value.

Call Apple care, I can almost guarantee they will replace the case/phone for you without charge, they have a fairly impressive customer care policy.

    Yeah Apple agreed to replace.

Went for the €29 option - where they send the replacement first.

Need to get a decent cover for the replacement - Incipio Feather? Use a dock connector for car stereo - so hopefully will still fit

Mine has the same crack, it got bigger over time. Also notice cracks aroun where the 2 tiny screws are at the bottom.
