Copper Ridge sytems

    I have been told that Putting a Copper Ridge on your roof eliminates moss growth etc .

    I have tall trees around the house and I reckon moss & green growth on the slates will be a big problem.

    Anyone have any experience on Copper ridges & their effectivness?

    They leach copper sulphate as they weather, ever looked at a church spire? They have a copper earth strip to conduct lightning to ground, the blue verdigris is what the strip will look like as it weathers.
    Yes they do work, they are pricey though especially as copper has just gone up in price again.
