Anyone got any suggestions for a good game to get for Xmas.GOW collection is winging it's way to me as i type.Already have the big release ones from this year. And have no interest in Asses creed.
The question is, were there any games that slipped through without much media attention? Also play on a Laptop so any suggestions for that format is welcome.(if that's aloud in the Playstation forum?)

You probably do not have Demon Souls. Get that.

BTW you should check out the sticked Essential PS3 Games thread, I'm sure there is something there to peak your interests.

With the main releases for the year gone its a good time to pick up those games ya thought "maybe when its cheaper/nothing else out". For me its games like The Force Unleashed (not a great game but good for a few hours of lightsaber tomfoolery), LittleBigPlanet (just feel like I wouldnt bother making anything in it, thus missing the point of the game) and such. Im actually getting back into PS2 games, largely helped by Gamestops buy 2, get a 3rd free deal. And yeah, the Essentials sticky is a good start.

If your looking for games that can run on your laptop, try www.gog.com or the Steam "Games under €10" section for cheap games that wont take much to run.

Stuff os going so cheap these days.

I just picked up Fallout 3 GOTY
    Persona 3 FES
    Demons souls
    Uncharted 2
    PES2010

over the last month. If you like football games then you have to have FIFA or PRO. Pro for me this year cos of the improvements.

Demon Souls for a satisfying challenge.

There is so much good stuff flying about

    Don't forget Borderlands

It's better than brilliant and has kept me away from CODMW2 so it must be doing something right

Dragon Age: Origins - superb title.

Also Borderlands, FIFA 10 and Uncharted 2 if the small chance you don't have it is true.

Was kind of thinking about Ninja gaiden sigma i know it's an oldish one but it seems to have got pretty good reviews.Does it still hold up well, i saw yesterday there is a second one out. This is a franchise that totally went below my radar.

They are meant to be quite good, a bit easier than the 360 originals but still some good slashy-slashy gun.

Should be demos for both of them on the PSN.

The 1st one is really hard, but the second one is absolutely epic!
