I feel you'll be pushing it too far. Look at the VW TSI engines.
It's not like a Glanza where you can up the boost 50bhp and nothing suffers

    Hi Colm,

What do you mean "Look at the VW TSI engines"?

I dont want to change my car and though i am very happy with the power,a wee bit more might be fun.

How does the specs measure up against other petrol cars with regard to the nm figures etc?

    Regards,

    Kieran

The high hp (170) VW 1.4 TSI engines have a reputation for blowing turbos, even CAR magazines long term tester blew a turbo.
I'd be concerned about upping the boost on a small engined turbo engine.

Totally agree on this model your max boost per "bar" is in 4th a bit, then 5th and 6th. Turbo etc. won't take the extra boost pressure they all ready tuned to the max for the size. Can't really compare to a VAG they got stronger turbo etc. well the newer ones anyways. On these you would really need more boost from 1 to 4th for the engine size on this model don't recommend it!!!!!

    its a bravo though :|

you Could bump it up, but why bother... grantted you might get upto 190ish but how longs the power band ??

how much more regular maintence will be required ??

you'll need better tyres also to maximize the power gain....

100,000,000 small little issues you have to solve before going ahead with this.

    Best of luck either way.
