this started with the tversity thing for me, I wanted to do it without installing new programmes, I did a search on here first and found nothing, but found what i was looking for through the life saver that is google, thought i would put it up for you guys incase any of you were ever looking! (may only be for windows 7 though)

Iv been using this method for ages, I try'd to get tversity working a few times but gave up. This is the best and easiest way of sharing files.

i dont think so, look at all the configuring you have to do first

http://code.google.com/p/ps3mediaserver/ by far the best, works out of the box, no messing

Seriously  It takes less than 60 seconds to do that, and you dont have to install a separate programme either.

Have to agree with Bobby, I've been using the program above and it's brilliant. Absolutely foolproof. Just start it up, turn on your PS3 and away you go. No configuring anything.
