After going through the steps (1-5)outlined on the sticky threads to try and remove these items and fix the problems that they have caused (Files invisible) Windows XP Have gone into the register and successful changed the checked value to '1' - did not fix the invisible file problem also tried a attributes change program…

also tried a attributes change program , which worked to untick the boxes of hide in the property of the files

Anyone got any ideas ?
