Wireless modulation schemes: OFDMA/CDMA

Just wondering does anyone here have much experience with Wireless modulation schemes, in particular OFDMA/CDMA hybrids.

My main problem is that there are quite a few different types of these schemes and I am finding it hard to get good material which clearly explains and differentiates them and the architectures associated with them. All I am really looking for is direction towards some good reading material such as books and papers etc from anyone who has any experience with this particular field. Or even any other forums which may be good for finding information or asking questions about this field.

Wikipedia is a good place to start for this sort of thing. The desriptions are often written by people working in the field, and you can get very good references to authoritative texts at foot of the page.

    e.g.

Thanks for the reply, I have already looked at wikipedia and some other sources. But wikipedia is only really useful for the basics which I already have a good understanding of. Also I am looking more at OFDMA/CDMA hybrid schemes, such as MC-CDMA, MC-DS-CDMA, MT-CDMA, etc and again wikipedia doesn't really have the detail I need.

Anyway in the mean time I have found some useful papers and stuff and another forum site which seems mildly useful, edaboard.com. But again thanks for your help.

Double check anything you hear first-hand from the folks at edaboard, it has a component of well-intentioned but sometimes badly misinformed engineering students.

I have had this longtime bookmarked as a reasonable overview of the hybrid ofdm modulations, but its likely lacking in modern techniques: http://www.comsoc.org/ci/private/1997/dec/pdf/Hara.pdf

Thanks for that, I actually found that paper over on edaboard too, but I'll make sure to double check anything I find there alright. I tend to do that anyway out of habit tbh. That paper is good though for the basics. But there does certainly seem to be a lot of new different schemes coming out. For example, I'm just after coming across Interleaved Division Multiple Access, its a bit hard to keep up with them all.

Also if anyone has done much work regarding multi rate, multi user modulation schemes I wouldn't mind picking your head for a few thoughts.
