resetting code on a car key

    I have a Audi a4 car last week the car would start but cut out straight away there was a car light with a key flashing on the dash somebody told me I would have to get my key reset as the spare key started it no prob, was just wondering if anybody had any advise on where I could get this done in the Galway, Roscommon or Westmeath area and not cost me an arm and leg. Any help gratefully accepted.

    Try this it may work for you:

    Turn on and off your ignition 10 times.It worked for me on a MkIV golf that was giving similar trouble (The immobiliser light flashing). I know it sounds crazy but it worked for me!

    A4 has a problem whereby the immobiliser transponder around the ignition barrel falls off. It's an easy fix apparently.
