I have just broken up from a long term relationship and am a guy in my mid 40`s.
Is there any nightclub in Dublin catering for my age group?
I`d hate to wander into a club full of 20 somethings looking like a child snatcher.:)

    Hi,

You have friends, surely? Where do they hang out? The fact that yiou've used the word 'just' isn't encouraging as it implies that you're looking for a 'quick fix' relationship after the last one. Allow some time to pass so that you can reassess where you're going in your life.

Not sure of the name, but there is an over 30's night club somewhere around Portobello bridge in Dublin

    Thanks for those replies.
Kevster all my friends are married and a lot of them have moved away from dublin in the last couple of years so i wouldnt have anyone to hang out with as such.

mbren...thanks i`ll check that one out.......still though it`s hard to get out there and mingle again.

if you're in your mid 40's maybe nightclubs aren't the place to go to meet women. consider dating websites, salsa classes, yoga, the gym, situations where you will get a chance to meet women closer to your own age without the veil of booze and bad music hanging over you.

Definitely try online dating. There's a site for more "mature" people called Parship so you should check it out. A friend's Mum who is 47 met a guy on it earlier this year and they are really happy together so worth a shot.
