    I'm presuming that's a 17" dell?
It would probably be fine, it's certainly cheap, the only things i can see letting it down are the poor processor and only integrated graphics. I'd upgrade the processor first, and if the budget allowed i'd upgrade the graphics. Other wise i can't see much else wrong with it, it's got a nice screen, decent sized HD.
How much do you have to spend?

EDIT: Just noticed it doesn't come with windows 7, and it's only vista basic, that'd put me off straight away.

    An Operating System.

Otherwise you can't go wrong, the lowest cheapest specs on the market will be fine for playing poker.

Just looking for an opinion on these two laptops:

    http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/product/Satellite-L450D-11X/1075592/

    and the Dell Studio 15

    http://www.euro.dell.com/content/topics/segtopic.aspx/specials/most_popular_laptops?c=ie&cs=iedhs1&l=en&s=dhs&ref=hbn

I can get the first one 100 hundred euro cheaper than the dell. Anybody able to give me some advice?
