hi all, two questions as im not the most computer literate person.
iv a dell laptop with windows xp, just checked the software for students website and the windows7 is fairly cheap so im thinking of upgrading. is it easy enough to change over and also iv recently put word2007 on this computer, so if i did change over to windows7 would i loose word2007?

Yes, it is quite easy to install Windows 7 -- just be sure to back up your important documents/music first.

You will have to re-install Word after you install Windows.

I am buying a new computer, should i go for windows 32 bit or 64 bit?

My computer is going to have 4 gig of ram and Intel 2 duo processor.

64-bit.

32-bit only counts the first 3.5gigs of RAM, so you'd have wasted some of the RAM you've paid for.

In reality though, unless you are a serious gamer/graphic designer, you won't notice any difference between the two.
