Now, as the good old recession is making us all more fiscally conscious, I am just wondering what people's thoughts are regarding advertising. I have two drop-tops to sell (God help me) and am just wondering if anyone could advice as to the best place to advertise them.

I was thinking donedeal.ie, but is the Buy and Sell worth the twenty quid, or carzone worth forking out for?

Adverts.ie is free! And its a subsection of boards in a way.

If you go the adverts.ie route, I would ask that you read the rules you agree to. It'll only end in tears if you dont.

donedeal.ie and adverts, keep the prices competitive and they'll sell.

Donedeal.ie - I managed to sell my car within a few hours of posting it a few months back. It was only €3 to post as well.

    Legends for all the advice.

BTW, why do you say tears re t+c's on adverts?

Gumtree worked fine for me, adverts seems to be full of timewasters.
