Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but maybe someone can help.

I have an external hard drive which I keep all my itunes on. When i connect it to my laptop it will show up as H: drive and this is where my itunes software locates all my songs. However it is now showing as E: drive and this is messing everything up. Is there any way to change it back to H drive manually????

Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Computer Management
Disk Management (on left pane near the bottom)
Right click the appropriate disk, choose Change drive letter and path

    Right click on "My Computer"
    Click "manage"
Click the "Disk Management" option in the left sidebar.
Select your external drive and right click. "Change drive letter and paths"

Dialog will open up, click change and change its letter in the dropdown box.

99% sure it changes it permanently
