    Hey guys,

Need some ideas for my g/f's Christmas present.

We've been going out for 5 years, so I'm kinda stuck.

I've previously gotten practical stuff like cameras, phones etc and more romantic stuff like autographed cds, foreign holidays, spa treatments etc.

Now this year, she wants clothes vouchers and a little surprise.

I've no idea what to get her as a little surprise! Any ideas?!

    Thanks,
    M

Cant go wrong with getting some of her fav perfume ;)

+1 on the perfume. You know she'll appreciate it

Other than that, maybe some little bits from Benefit in BT or some novelty stuff like chrsitmassy pjs and slippers, us girls love that kinda stuff

If you know her tastes and are 100% sure of her size, maybe a pretty lingerie set or nightie would be nice but again, depends on what she wears usually.

I personally love getting books but not everyone does, if you know her favourite author try and see if she has their latest if not, down to the bookshop!

Really you can't go wrong with girls if you get something in the cosmetics or nightwear line. If you want any suggestions re. makeup items PM me!

    Good luck!

I'd go with jewellery - get a girl in the shop to help pick it out. A nice locket maybe?

How about a nice framed photo of the two of you?

    Heya,

Seeing as ye're together 5 years I'm guessing you have lots of photos and memories, I used www.photobox.ie to do up photo books for a few people this Christmas, I honestly can't tell you how much I loved that website! For 30ish euro you get a gorgeous book with loads of options for how to display your pictures and text, and they arrive really quick, I think it's a really thoughtful gift.

I know I'm gushing slightly about this site, I'm not linked to them in any way but I just thought it was a great idea and when one of my books arrived damaged they had it remade and sent out again within a few hours, so I was well impressed with them.

This is a brilliant idea! I know this thread is for what to get king-of-inismac's girlfriend but just wanted to thank you for sharing this idea.
Think I'm going to rob this idea and get this for my oh for valentines day:"The Lovebook"

He would probably get slagged mercilessly by his mates,so would have to keep it secret, but I know that he would like it himself as he is quite sentimental at times.
    Thanks again!:)

(PS) king-of-inismac: I think most girlfriend's would be very impressed with a photo book of the 2 of ye together. It shows so much thought and effort.
Wish my boyfriend would make me one!:-)
