I don't see much mention of any first year Commerce students so I thought I start a thread.

How did ye find the first semester? Enjoying it/Not enjoying it? Are ye set for the upcoming Management exam?

I thought it flew for starters. It has been a very exciting, fun and tiring semester. The subjects aren't too bad at all-Maths and Economics can be tricky, accounting is going smoothly so far (I did it for LC) along with MIS and Management.

:DHey really stuck between deciding wheher to do commerce in UCD or NUIG!!! Seriously like I always wanted to go 2 go 2 ucd but then wen i went 2 the open day it just seemed so big and lots of D4s!!! Galway just seemed more homely or something....not really sure??? But then is commerce in galway as good as commerce in ucd??Tanx!confused.gifconfused.gif

dont do commerce but i cant imagine why it wouldnt be as good in NUIG as it is in UCD. I cant remember where i heard it, but i heard that NUIG is the top uni in the country, so dont get the "dublin is better" thing into your head! :)

First year is a nice year in commerce to be honest...next two years are kinda annoying though.Things can become very repetitive in the course.
