Ive read of a few cases around the world bringing lawsuits against Sony over products failing within 2 years... a few of them have one! Id love to try it here but Ive bollixed my PS3 trying to fix the YLOD, so prob best not to try it! If i get a new one Il be getting extended guarantee for sure!

Bit off topic but am i in the minority here i have the 60gb launch model and it has never so much as farted sideway's at me never overheats or has probs reading discs.Ive probably jinxed it now please don't die on me,I love you PS3.

My PS3 just literally got the YLOD about an hour ago. Am will to hand it over if theres money involved

Jesus now you have me worried i don't think i could go the few day's it would take me to get the cash together for a new one.Is this a common problem I'm guessing YLOD stands for yellow light of death or something similliar.

Mine has the YLOD but I can get a new 80GB one if I exchange the old YLOD dead one and 160 euros. Since a new one is about 250, I'd sell you mine for 90 euros and possibly less if I could get a new 80GB for less than 250. But why do you want a YLOD one?
