Also, if you are buying any bbc box sets that are over £10 from Amazon use code BBCGIFTS for £2 off a £10 spend (thanks to hukd for this:cool:)

I hate this forum. Despite it's name it costs me a fortune.

Unfortunately, I think the scope of this voucher is quite limited.

I tried to use it on the Blackadder DVD and it wouldn't work even though it is BBC.

I bought 3 of the David Attenborough ones together at a special buy the 3 of them price. I was still able to use the code. It came up that there was an error and to check the code's T&C's but it still got deducted at the final price. I just pressed continue after the error came up.

I bought two Attenborough boxsets along with another DVD & small kitchen stuff, tried the code and got the error as well. Clicked continue, and saw it disregarded the code in the final tally. Perhaps its for BBC-only orders?

Edit: Just saw its for the items mentioned in Sparrows linky above...

Anybody know whether its cheaper to go with the Amazon conversion to Euro rate or stick with sterling price and visa charge for conversion. They are selling the PS3 Beatles rockband for £19.99 which is quite cheap. spend another £5 for free delivery

If it's over £25 it's free shipping.

I went with the Sterling price 2 months ago as the Amazon conversion rate was not as good as my Visa rate - HOWEVER - Bank of Ireland now slap on a "Cross Border Handling Fee" if you buy in a non-Euro currency - that was news to me and they (B of I Visa) were very snotty about it when I complained. In my case it was a fee of €4.75 on a transaction of £253. So it's probably 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.....

If it's over £25 it's free shipping.

If the order is over £25 after the extra Irish VAt is added - then delivery is free.
So - if the goods are priced at £23.60 or more you should get free delivery. If you want some small items to bring up the order value - see this list of cheap Amazon fillers you can get stuff that you will really use like toothpaste and bin liners...
