Eircom - Outbound Calls Not Working

    Hi,

    I'm living in Arklow and there was some sort of eircom outage yesterday evening/night. Phone and internet down.

    This morning the internet is back working and my landline number can receive calls but for some reason I cannot make outbound calls.

    I dial the number and then nothing happens. No error in connection or anything like that. Its just like a constant attempt to connect where nothing happens

    Any advice on what might be the likely cause. Eircom? or my line setup at home etc?

    Dial 1901 (from a mobile) and report it as a fault. Have you checked if the neighbours have the same problems?

    thanks bond-007, didint realise you could dial 1901 from a mobile. :o

    anyway, would you believe it, it just started worked again this afternoon!
