Not sure where this question should be posted...

Im looking to purchase a wide angle lens for my jvc everio camcorder but before i do that, can anyone explain how i replace the existing lens?

Any advice on a good place to purchase a wide angle lens (cheap) would also be appreciated.

You can't change it. Check jvc website to see if a wide angle adapter which screws over the lens is available as an accessory. Or check the width of the lens and that it has a thread for filters and adapters and then find a wide angle adapter that can attach.

Tanx Ghost Train for your help, i wasn't 100% sure if a lens was available. Guess i'll just have to manage with what i'v got. Cheers
