liquidation auction

    anywhere on where there is a machinery liquidation auction on. where are all these repossed tractors been sold. what im interested in is a cattle box eg ifor williams something fairly new and around 12ft. but also just want to go for the expierence. any really good ones.

    things are not that bad that a 5000 euro cattle trailer will be reposessed.
    they will mostly have plant machinery and tractors .
    you hear a lot of stories of former owners putting iron filings down oil caps and the like. i wouldnt buy at one of these auctions because it would be taking advantage of someone elses misfortune.

    Some very animated discussions over on the "4x4 & Tractors & Diggers & Plant" forum on this subject. May have to go back a few pages to find them.
    A lot of this stuff taken under the cover of darkness.

    I agree with mossfort, I went to the ganly auction after seeing it on the news. many machines had tyres slashed and ignition wires ripped out .
    If it was anywhere else you would think they were stolen.
    Disturbing is the word that came to mind.
