Why is there no talk about this fight? Do people think it's a foregone conclusion as to who will win?

I think Paul Williams could be out-boxed tonight.
Martinez is a fantastic boxer; one of the best in the world.

Am I right in saying the winner of this faces Pavlik next?

According to the boxing scene website that is supposed to be the case.

What a fight! I think Martinez just about edged it. Still i wouldn't be surprised if it's scored a draw.

thanks for stream. caught it from the 8th. looked like a good fight.
    119-111 sounds ridiculous though.
    well done to both fighters

yeah i don't know what fight that judge was watching. you could make a case for either fighter winning but a score card of 119-110 is just ridiculous. Anyway this was one of the best fights of 2009. I'm looking forward to the rematch!

nothing dodgy about it and you obviously aint seen the fight.

It was impossible to scorte because the action was so wild and unrelenting.

I thought Martinez won it pretty clearly to be honest

I dont disbelieve ya hombre. I gave up scoring on the fight cos I found it ompossible.

I knew the cards would be all over the place. I was that kind of fight. I wouldnt have complained if either fighter won the fight.

i guess these judges were swayed by Williams being the agressor for the most of the the fight, rather than the eye catching shots which were mostly being thrown by Martinez.

    ^ yeah
That's how I viewed it as well. I thought Williams looked a little ragged at times, and his workrate was just about keeping him in the fight. I found that Sergio was outboxing him for the majority, and he had huge problems adapting to his style.
