    Stress!! and Gigantic present....
Adebisi Shank (Richter Collective) & C!ties
    Saturday December 12th
    just e5!! // Doors 9pm
    Upstairs At Kellys

It's been a hell of a year for the Richter Collective. After the merging of Popular Records and Armed Ambition Records, the last 12 months have seen them lay down a strong claim to be called the best Independent record label in the country. With a string of excellent releases from a slew of bands who currently vie for the title of Ireland's best live act such as Adebisi Shank, Bats and Enemies, there's also been the exciting news lately that they'll be releasing the next album from the undisputed kings of a slightly older crop, The Redneck Manifesto. They've also led from the front with their innovative mix of traditional music release mediums and downloads, their own online store and a monthly Singles Club in which they pair their own acts and other luminaries of the Irish scene for special edition 7'' vinyl releases in conjunction with a concert of the acts involved. The Single Club has allowed them to produce very special exclusive releases from the likes of And So I Watch You From Afar and Messiah J and The Expert as well as their own roster.

On Saturday December 12th, Stress!! and Gigantic bring one of the best Richter Collective have to offer for a very special live show Upstairs At Kellys in the form of Adebisi Shank.

Adebisi Shank, who are most likely no strangers to Galway crowds at this stage, probably have the strongest shout of the Richter Collective's acts to the mantle of best live act in the country. This reputation has now also led them abroad many times, including 2 successful tours of Japan in support to Lite. A furious, enthralling mix of post-rock, punk and indeed touches of electronic music, this may be their last trip to Galway for some time as they prepare to work on their next album. Catch them while you can!

Support from the night comes from Ennis upstarts C!ties. This is their first visit to Galway as a group though they've possibly been here at other times individually. Their self-titled EP was released in late 2008 and they've been slowly but surely earning themselves a fearsome live reputation which culminated in them being named one of the highlights of the HWCH Festival this year - as well as one of the loudest. Go to their myspace, listen to "4plus1equals5" then come to this gig.

C!ties are absolutely deadly! This year they've supported ASIWYFA and Maybeshewill, TWICE! They put on a really sweet show, but I haven't seen them in a while. Definitely worth going to see.

I agree. I saw them in Whelans a couple of months ago supporting ASIWYFA. I had never heard of anyof the bands on the bill and I was blown away. great electro stuff too!
