Avanquest Software are advertising their PC SPEED MAXIMIZER. Does anyone know anything about. Does it really speed up your PC and make it like new.
Your opinions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

PC maximizing/optimizing is just a tool that does automatically what you can do manually, i.e. removing bad keys in the registry, defragging the hard drive, removing unnecessary entries in start-up, deleting temp files and so on...

Is your PC slow? CCleaner is free.

Regarding Avanquest, does anyone know anything about their customer service? I am disgusted with them, I ordered some stationery, Hallmark printing paper for making cards and also envelopes. They billed my credit card and despite two queries by email to their customer service team, no response, so I am now assuming that there is NO Customer service provided by this company/am wondering what step to take now.

Is it that you didn't get the stationery? If thats the case, contact your cc company they will refund you the money, then they will go and deal with avanquest themselves, taking the money back from them if they have to.

+1 on getting on to your credit card company/payments provider. Closing old thread if you want to post another the Consumer Issues one is more appropriate :)
