Try spraying "easy start" or "start ya bastard" in the air intake (under air filter). If you dont have it surely somone in your area would have it. If she starts its fuel related. Fuel filter blocked? Dont keep using it tho!Take out one of the plugs and put lead back on and put the plug near a metal part of the engine and turn on the starter to see for a spark.

Obviously the first thing to do is check fuses + electrical connections. Then you'll need to check the 3 basics; Air, Fuel & Spark. Also worth checking the timing belt hasn't snapped either!

You can rule in / out fuel problems by spraying some carb cleaner into the engine air intake (after the air filter), and see if the engine starts.

You can rule in / out spark problems by removing one of the plugs, grounding it off the engine and seeing if you get a spark.

You can rule out the timing belt if you can see the cam shaft turning as you crank the engine.

Its more than likely something silly stopping it from running. The good news is that a non-runner is usually easier to fault find than a intermittent problem.

Check the usual suspects, like mentioned above.
If no joy, mechanic call out might be worth it. Sounds like it
might be the crank sensor. But a diagnostic check would narrow
    down the fault.

could be battery, needs correct power to start, just coz its turning over doesnt mean it will start,
charge battery,or jump it, but still let it charge before starting it,

I have a Maxima and had a similar problem to yours a few years ago, and the problem was the fuel pump.
Any nissan fuel pump will fit, Micra,Almera,Primera etc.
