Boiler reinstallation cost?

Just had a Bord Gáis service man out to service our boiler. Took one look at it and said "not touching that". Turns out is hanging off the wall by the flue and needs to be reinstalled. Seems like a big (ish?) job. Have a (different) guy coming out to price it early next week but wondering about a few things.

    1) How much should the reinstallation cost? It seems like just a matter of fixing the bracket and screws back to the wall - maybe there is more to it - but what might be the ballpark cost?

    2) Should the service guy not have been able to fix it himself? Is that not what he was here for?

    Thanks

OK firstly,Generally Bord Gais are too keen to walk away from a job

the boiler needs to be removed obv and then the bracket needs to be reattached and refit the boiler.

    not a HUGE job:)

I myself wouldnt give you a price without seeing it but it shouldnt cost a huge amount

I would deem that boiler unsafe to use if it was hanging on by the flue.
did the service guy not mention this??

PM me if you would like me to have a look at it,
