Where should I go for the largest selection of table lamps in Dublin? I need a lamp which I intend to modify a bit, hence I need a big selection to find a suitable one. Any advances on Ikea? I'm not convinced any of the lamps I see on their site will be adaptable.

You could try Hicken lighting on the quays, its near Christchurch beside the Brasen head pub. They have a really good selection of lamps.
