Accounts person / Credit controller job available

Good afternoon,

I am a self employed accountant and as you would expect I do work for various different clients....

One of my clients is looking for an Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller. The principal duties can be summarised as follows:-

Accounts / Bookkeeping
* Processing of purchase invoices;
* Preparation and processing of accounts payable;
* Reconciliation of accounts payable balances;
* Bank administration and reconciliation;
* Assisting in preparation of monthly management accounts;
* Assisting with the year end audit function;
* Other duties as may be required

Credit Control
* Daily collection of outstanding debts;
* Preparing and issuing customer invoices;
* Deal with and resolve customer queries as they arise;
* Reconciling customer accounts and allocating cash receipts and credit notes to appropriate accounts;
* Ensuring relevant internal controls are adhered to.

The location is very close to RTE / St Vincents Hospital area of Dublin which is accessible by the DART and various bus routes.

Remuneration will of course be dependant on experience but would be in the range of about 30K to 40K.

This would be a job for someone with prior experience in this area or someone who is at the level of an Accounts Technician....
