Head into Brown Thomas and you'll have a fairly good selection, MAC are very good. You can also get some good cheap sets on ebay, they aren't the real deal but they'd do the job!

Well it depends on how much you are willing to spend, but as mentioned before MAC are excellent, I have a set for a few years now and they are still perfect.

The thing with brushes that you have to remember is that the bristles are what you're paying for. Cheap brushes will do the job but the bristles will be constantly falling out during use, quality bristles should not do this. MAC are the best I've come across personally but they're not cheap.

If you head in to MAC though, the girls are always very willing to help you if you explain what you want. Good luck!

That should get you a few, they can be very expensive - but they are worth every cent!

I got a set of brilliant make up brushes in The Body Shop for €65. They come in a little pouch aswell which makes for a great present. All the brushes you need are in there and they were worth every penny! :)

Do you remember the name of these, as a set would be better because I wouldn't know what individual brushes to buy

The body shop would just do their own brand so just go in and ask +1 for Body shop or Mac - Mac do nice sets too but you will get many more brushes for the same price in the body shop!

I agree with the Body Shop ones. They are very good. Lancome have four nice ones.
