I checked on eircom page on what bandwidth I am using. We spend a lot of the time on the PC but I was shocked to see that in 8 months of this year we had exceeded the 50GB allowed--sometimes 100+.
We got no notification of this and nothing appeared on the bills.
We are on a 8MB line and I'm just hoping that they do not decide to send a huge bill or something at the end of the year.
I am not sure how all this works so any insight would be helpful.
Cheers for taking the time to read post :)
EDIT :Just one more thing--is it downloading or time online it is measured by?

This comes up on a weekly basis, and is covered in the FAQ. eircom don't enforce the cap.
