Dad needs to buy a golf buggy - advice please

Folks,
Hope someone can help...please.
My dad is in his 80s now, and isn't able to get around to play golf like he used to. My brothers and sisters and I want to get him an electric golf buggy. He doesn't have a trailer, so it really needs to be something that can be dismantled for transport. If it really comes to it, we might be able to find somewhere at the course to store it.

Course is quite hilly, so I think it really needs to be a proper 4-wheeler, not one of the 3-wheeled things.

I've had a look on the web, and there seems to be a few makes, but I've also read very bad reliability reports about some of them. Can anyone out there recommend a good brand? I've been looking at the 'Powerhouse' ones, since they seem to come with various options, including extra large tyres, which would be good to try and make it course friendly...I want to maximise the amount of time he can use it during the Winter.

I won't say money is no object, but getting our dad back out on the course is more important right now.

We'd be very grateful if someone could recommend something.

Get a refurbished 2nd hand buggy and store it at his home course. If he's playing at another course he can simply rent one. (2 to 3k)

Storage at his home course isn't an option right now, hence my request for something that could be dismantled. If we absolutely have to store it at the course, we'll have to put up a small shed or something there. They won't let us use any existing sheds at the course for insurance reasons (?!).

I've read some very bad reviews of those Patterson buggys online as regards performance and reliability...does anyone have first hand experience?

This seems to be good and will (potentially) fit in the boot.
A few things I will draw your attention to.
1) Even dismantled these things are going to be heavy enough to cause an 80+ year old issues getting into a boot. I would say that even an electric caddy car could be an issue in this case.
2) Does the club allow buggys? Do they have them available to rent out?
3) Regarding wider wheels to be able to play more often, most courses will either be open or closed to buggys, they wont leave it up to you, Especially if its a hilly course.
4) Have you considered an electric caddy car, or is the walking an issue for him?
