I recently got a letter from An Post that I was invited to an interview at the GPO next week. This involves various aptitude tests such as verbal & numerical skills test which take about 10 mins each. But at the end of the letter, they stated that the process could take 2 hours??
Has anyone been to one of these before?
Is it a suit wearing type of interview?

most companies do aptitude tests these days and they more than likely use this company http://www.shldirect.com/ or this one http://www.qantas.com.au/infodetail/about/employment/QTests.pdf depending on the job spec.
As for wearing a suit i would although i find it a bit weird that they would have you do the aptitude test followed by an interview any way best of luck.

I did this aptitude test last week. It takes about an hour and a half, I started at half three and was out at five. Yes, the tests themselves are short, but they go through the "rules" and things before each of the three tests.

there's no interview, just the tests. I wore casual clothes, there were some people wearing suits, but there's no point going to that effort for just an aptitude test.
