Can anyone recommend a cheap China Cymbal?

    I need a china cymbal, preferrably 18 inches or bigger. Looking for a very dark swishy sound, not a loud piercing sound like the metal drummers seem to love. It's only for one song so I don't want to blow more than 70 or 80 quid. Any ideas? Any battered second hand ones out there?

    your probably best to get a Zildjian Pang cymbal, they were veryy popular years ago, but aren't made anymore..however you do see them on ebay, i bought mine a 18inch 80's pang for around $90, was perfect nick,,very impressed with it, a great sounding cymbal and a dark mellow swishing sound is what you will get.

    Also check if you can get a Zildjian Swish cymbal, as that would also be just what your looking for, again they stopped making them, but only recently, so you may get one handy enough on ebay, their the best 2 i can reccomend, for a cheap superb china you cant beat a Wuhan , their cheap but dam good,,,but perhaps a bit piercing for what yu need.
