I am travelling to Norway in for a concert there next year, and I need some advice on booking flights. I reckon Ryanair are the best bet. I has a few questions.

    1. How soon can I book a flight for Dec 1st returning the 3rd Dec next year?

    2. Is it easier or even cheaper to go DUB-STN with Ryanair and then from STN to TRF? Or would DUB-TRF direct be the best option cost wise?

    Thanks in advance

    1) Generally 9 months prior, but keep checking the website for availability

    2) It would be cheaper to book directly from Dublin, as Ryanair would view this as 4 separate flights rather than 2, so you'd be hit with each charge 4 times if you were to do a transfer in Stanstead, plus if you had check-in baggage you would have to collect it in STN and re-check it.

Forget Ryanair and travel Dublin - Oslo-Gardermoen direct with Norwegian.no You can book flights up to 11 months in advance.

usually i would recommend ryanair as they usually are the cheaper option and it pointless paying double for a short flight like that but in this case i would totally agree with this post

torp is nowhere near oslo, its a 2hr drive down the motorway and tickets on the torp/oslo airport bus are far from cheap (180kr one way approx €22)

You can get flights for Kr199 (about €25) with Norwegian, and they're happy to see you boarding the aircraft ;)
