Christmas is a fun time and is mostly about giving.

My best present was from my kids who bought me a waste paper basket one year cos they thought I needed it and I put flowers in it,

Last Christmas myself and my OH went for a walk around Malahide estuary wearing woolie hats after dinner. Just us and she splashed me. A special moment.

So its about giving and recieving but is also about others.

Now I know lots of guys in GC are slushy and sentimental so its your opportunity to fess up. You know you wanna.

Got a pony when I was around 10. Remember that it was a really cold Christmas morning with snow on the ground (I'm talking Irish snow here - a light smattering here and there ........ none of that blanket coverage stuff!) and my Dad took me out to the cow-shed where this fantastic-looking pony was tied up, billowing out plumes of steamy air into the cold morning. Thought I was in heaven.

............ pony was gone by August - he didn't want to be broken, and I wasn't going to quit. Apparently my mother intervened and said that if the pony wasn't removed I'd end up in a box!

My sister was born on Christmas Day 1996, a lovely feeling to know that I was now a big brother and no longer the youngest on top of getting Christmas presents. Can't say I didn't see it coming when I was first told she was due Christmas week! :)

A SNES back on the day ( 1993 ) , I played it too much and had no social life as a result. Still, I don't think I'd would be doing Multimedia or be who I am today if it wasn't for its influence on me.

Every Christmas for a few years when I was very young, I got a train set of some description. They'd be lucky to last me till February, I was quite the reckless type. I sometimes think about getting a hobby train set for old times sake. :)

Last year's Christmas was pretty sweet. Probably my favourite, but I think I say that every year! :) Last year was brilliant because of our dinner, it was top notch! My Mam is such a class cook! Also, instead of watching a Christmas movie we watched Pink Floyd playing Dark Side of the Moon live. It was immense!

Presents were better as a kid. I find when you get older its all just aftershave, socks, books you never read etc etc.

The one that sticks in my mind was a Ghostbusters proton pack when I was around 10. I had wanted it for months and to wake up Xmas morning to see that Santa has left it at the foot of me bed was brilliant.

I suppose the guitar I got about 7 years ago has served me very well during life. My life would probably be fairly different without it!

Ah that's not half as fun as my idea :( I did some researching add discovered a picture of you and your mother having a proper rollerblade snow fight. Do you deny these allegations?

and it's even in the woods and all.. good ehh.. researching!
but unfortunately, no, that's the neighbours from down the road, they caught onto the craze but weren't very bright and threw the roller blades at each other!

I do actually. Well I obviously dont go to too much bother for my extended family n friends but for my immediate family i make an effort to get them something that they genuinely want or would like.
