kickboxing equipment can range in prices. If your only starting out don't get anything too expensive. The Adidas gloves 10oz can be bought in argos for cheap enough and are not bad. there is a brand that are doing deals for Christmas, the make is called Velo. they not too bad !

I'm also looking for a place like this. Checked the Mullen website but it doesn't seem to have the kickboxing pads. Can anyone recommend a place? Really need to get sorted this week. Would appreciate a pointer!! Thanks!

Kickboxing pads? You probably mean footpads and the footpads in Mullen are decent. Also I believe there is Semi & Light / Full styles of pads for the three types of contact, so make sure they are for your type of contact before buying.

Cant say that I have used blitzsport gear but its seems like the type of equipment that semi/light contact guys use. (Clue is in the name .. blitz)

Cant see their gloves lasting if you are doing any kind of heavy bag/pad work. Granted you might be working with a tight budget but would recommend paying the extra for a decent set of gloves. You should look after your hands! If your on budget then skimp on the shin pads, if your not worried about your opponent :D
