    Why are clipless pedals so called? I clip into them so surely they should be "clipped" pedals.

    Answers on a postcard to....

    The clips refer to actual toe clips. Something like this

    Have a pair of them myself-got them in cycleways about a year ago-only €20 for the pair iirc!
