    Folks,

Am visiting the outlaws for the weekend so need to get my long cycle in out of Wicklow town. Four hours I guess going south. Have done Wicklow to Arklow route on coast road many times and then back over moutains etc.

Don't fancy climbs really at the moment so does anyone know what the route is like south of Arklow going down the coast towards Gorey and distance. Normally about 40 mins from Wicklow to Arklow for me.

    Thx

    Shaun

you have loads of options, I'd try Wicklow coast road to arklow, Woodenbridge, Aughrim, Ballinaclash, Rathrdrum, Laragh, Annamoe, Ashford Wickow. some drags on this route but no hard climbs. If that's too long from Rathrdrum, you could do Glenealy Rathnew and back to wicklow

Jeez! The hill up out of Rathdrum counts as 'no hard climb'? Feels like driving up a wall that one never mind cycling...
