    A seed is used to germinate plants and tree's and such.

    A Nut is eaten and can't germinate.

    A nut is technically like a fruit or some jazz.. Not assed googling.
    I do however know that a cashew nut is not in fact a nut but a seed

    Seed always comes from your nuts, but nuts can only come from your seed if your missus has a male child.

    There is an "s", two "e"'s and a "d", in seed.

    There is an "n", a "u" and a "t", in nut.
